What is an Event?
An Event is any single action that creates, updates, or deletes an object in SourceSight, such as a supplier, initiative, task, document, or similar record. Events are counted regardless of whether the action is initiated by a user or automatically by the system. If multiple fields are changed as part of one action, it is counted as one Event. For example, updating ten fields and clicking “Save” counts as a single Event. However, if that same action triggers additional system activity such as the creation of new tasks, each of those resulting actions is counted as a separate Event. For example, saving an update that also creates three new tasks would result in a total of four Events: one for the original save action and three for the newly created tasks.
